Matthew Conklin
is a musician, artist and blogger, apparently. He was born on a plantation in Southern Louisiana where he was taught to play the spoons by Shuggie Cornwall Jr. Years later, he escaped! and headed for sunny California. Hollywood was his goal, with aspirations to be a world famous music making man! However, after being mugged in Sacramento during an overlap at the Greyhound station, awakening sometime later in a bathtub full of ice to find he was missing a kidney, he was never able to realize his dream. Now he sits in a dark office room, bitterly reviewing experimental ice cream flavors, like Rottenberry Seaweed Swirl.

Adam Healton
works 75 hours a week as head waiter/ranch hand at Gramma Wrassler's Old Time Country Kitchen in Moundsville, WV. When he can afford to take a day or two off, he likes to lock himself in a squalid basement to record music with the many bands that exist only in his mind. His clothes are tattered and he stumbles around, not drunk, but all too aware of life's shortcomings to balance properly anymore. He is a fractured husk of what was once a decent man.
