Yes, in fact that's how we intend to find out about cool new stuff! We're not like a record label, we WILL take unsolicited submissions into consideration. Just email us your information, and a link to the album you want reviewed to Informed.Conformist@Gmail.com
But my album is on cassette/vinyl! Can I snail mail it to you?
At this time, unfortunately, no. At this moment, we're all digital. That may change in the future though, and we'll make and announcement and update this F.A.Q. if it does!
Hey man, I sent you my music and you haven't posted it yet! What's up?!
It's not always possible to sit down, listen to the music and then review it right away. Bands that send links and band bios and other pertinent information will always get priority to those we have to Google to find more about. Also, please don't send us your demos or live recordings or whatever...we're looking to review complete, conceptually realized independent albums.
Why aren't there many followers/subscribers? Is this some kind of joke?
No, it's because we need your help! Send us your music and share The Informed Conformist with your friends! We've only just begun (as of July of 2010), and we're slowly building a community. Oh, and please don't forget to follow/subscribe YOURSELF! None of this can succeed without your help!
